Our luxury campsite with its resort, Les Villas du Bois Marins, located in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, in Vendée, is open from April to September.

The reception hours of la Forêt Campsite Resort and Villas du Bois Marin are from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm in low season. In high season, reception hours are from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 8pm.

A dream campsite carefully renewed after 40 years with privatised spaces, so that you can enjoy nature in all its splendour and a refreshing calm, as a couple or as a family. We played around with the plant species to offer you an ‘inhabited garden’ concept!

You will spend your seaside holiday in your lodges, as well as outdoors thanks to very intimate patios that have been designed for your tranquility and to preserve your space by offering a high quality of stay.

The ideal location of the campsite resort will allow you to walk to the wonderful beach of Pont d’Yeu, thanks to a direct beach access called Paré, and this is possible at any time of the day. Then you can discover magnificent landscapes thanks to the many bike paths that line the property, including the iconic Vélodyssée.

With direct access, the forest is ideal for enjoying the great outdoors on hot days, but also for hiking, Nordic walking or a more sporty trail training.

The state forest is home to many protected species for the most contemplative walkers and those who like to take in their surroundings.

Laundry inside the campsite

With a laundry room on site, you won't have to worry about clothes!

The washing machine costs €6 to use and the dryers cost €5. Dryers and irons are available free of charge.

Rental surcharge

La Forêt Campsite Resort and its outdoor hotel Les Villas du Bois Marin offer free baby kits (high chair, bed and mattress) as well as a made-up beds service (optional).

Book your breakfast

Enjoy a hot breakfast on the terrace of your accommodation in the morning. From 8:15 am to 12:00 pm, you can pick up your breads and pastries that you ordered the day before at the office or at the snack bar at the campsite.

After a delicious breakfast in the quiet of your private garden, you can stroll through the forest which is directly accessible from the campsite resort or you can go quietly on the beach, walk in the sea or swim in the ocean.

You can also visit the island of Noirmoutier or the island of Yeu located a few minutes by car and boat.

Nearby shops

The la Forêt campsite resort and its premium area Les Villas du Bois Marin are ideally located. They are within walking distance of Notre Dame de Monts (1 km) and Saint-Jean-de-Monts (5 km), its shops, typical local markets and restaurants. We also offer an on-site helpdesk and a supermarket nearby.

Less than a kilometre from your rental, you will have access to the village of Notre Dame de Monts. This beautiful city, festive in high season, is ideal for water activities with the family or for listening to street concerts while buying some souvenirs.

The "velodyssée" cycling path is in front of the campsite resort as well as the coastal path and the main hiking route. This will allow access in complete serenity for hikers and sporty guests to the popular tourist areas and the shops.

Do not hesitate to contact our concierge service if you need to find a doctor, or simply want some advice on the best restaurants or to order a taxi. A shuttle service is available upon request.

This campsite resort is pedestrianised, natural and ecological. It has everything you need to spend a relaxing moment in the heart of nature thanks to direct access to the forest and the beach.

Travel with your pet

It is with great pleasure that we will welcome your pets during your stay. For a supplement of €5 to €10, you can travel in peace in this quiet and relaxing place, offering access to one of the rare beaches where animals are permitted, the beautiful beach of the Pont d'Yeu.

There are amenities to wash your pet (dog) after its sea swim.

We attach particular importance to a harmony between the fauna of the beach and the forest as well as your wonderful walks with your pet. Also, you will be asked to respect the inhabitants of our woods and the many beach birds.

We accept dogs, but only well-behaved ones, for the utmost respect of all residents.

Transportation from the campsite resort, the premium neighbourhood, the outdoor hotel

Do you want to get around without having to take the car? A bus service is located just 300m from the campsite resort and the premium Les Villas du Bois Marin district.

We can pick you up directly from the train station on request with our private shuttle and we can also order a taxi or a vehicle with a driver.

We recommend that you rent a bike or electric bike on site to reduce your carbon impact during your stay. The many bike paths are ideal and pass in front of the campsite Resort.

The ferry terminal for the island of Yeu is less than 10 minutes away by car and we can arrange the parking of your car or moving by helicopter.
